Elections,

The day has finally came wherein every Filipino, whatever social status he comes from, becomes equal.
After a grueling 3 months of campaigning and going around the whole Philippine archipelago (as if they have ALL been there); the non-stop TVCs with those funny, crazy and catchy jingles; the posters and fliers that have continuously vandalized and created piles of garbage in the streets; the platforms; the shake-hands; the waving; the smiling.... whew! and so many more!
Finally! It's time to vote...
Waking up on the election day is easy and everything seems to be as normal as it is. By the time i'm on my way to the Radio station, i've come to realize that the streets aren't crowded and there are no vehicles such as PUVs and trucks to make my Monday as dreadful as it has always been.
For the first time, i passed along the Ortigas Center without encountering any Traffic! Also, i didn't even see a lot of office people walking around just to get to their work place.
When the FX i'm riding onto reached EdSA, it's really peculiar to see just a few vehicles on the road... cool!
So to make it all short, the roads are all good and there is no traffic! Thank God for the election! hahaha...
After going on-air for about an hour, i went to Megamall to buy some stuffs but crap, it isn't open yet! Now that is one thing that kinda ruined my good mood...
Upon getting home, i immediately dozed off to dreamland coz i wanna catch some sleep coz i have a party to attend later.
Hmm.. all in all, this day isn't weird and complicated as i thought it was.
You wake up.
You fix yourself.
You go to the precinct to vote.
You get out and go to your work.
The usual!
So who says that this isn't just an ordinary day?

My Mama asked me that if things were done my way; who among the candidates for the 12 Senatorial positions would i like to win.
Here they are:
  1. LOREN LEGARDA - she's certainly a woman of power and substance in this tough world of dirty, greedy, manipulative and deceitful world of politics. But i know that she'll emerge victorious and still, true, from that hell of a place.
  2. FRANCIS ESCUDERO - he's the "young blood" of the troop and since he is an achiever and has made a name of his own, he's definitely a new fighter of the youth for the Senate.
  3. BENIGNO AQUINO III - i believe that he'd make a great leader someday. Great enough to withstand the critics and evil minds of politics.
  4. FRANCIS PANGILINAN - he says he will continue the things he has started, so i'm giving him another chance to make the best of it.
  5. MIGUEL ZUBIRI - i applaud him for supporting the Biofuels Act because he clearly shows that he is into the environment saving community.
  6. SONIA ROCO - she is a teacher and the widow of another supposed-to-be great president, Raul Roco. She is the voice of the Nanay's and the teachers, and i love her.
  7. MANNY VILLAR JR. - i believe in his famous Sipat at Tiyaga slogan. It fits every Filipino that lives before and today. He still has more to prove and i'm also giving him another chance to prove his worth.
  8. PING LACSON - for me, he is the Iron Man of the Senate and he'd definitely straighten up those crooked men.
  9. RICHARD GOMEZ - even though he comes from the Entertainment industry, he is now eligible enough to be put in the Senate. He's got a lot of plans for the youth, the athletes, the masses and the country.
  10. KOKO PIMENTEL - although i'm not very much familiar with him, i think he will also be a new blood to the group and he'd also be as good as his father.
  11. ANTONIO TRILLANES III - he's the voice of the military and at the same time has gone against the present administration which makes it more challenging and interesting to see him in the Senate.
  12. TESSIE AQUINO-ORETA - she danced awfully. switched parties. said sorry. so ok, im giving her another chance.

There goes my 12 bets and i hope that if ever they'd win a seat in the Senate, i pray that they won't forget the things they are fighting for.

The people. The youth. The country.
