Week One. No Trace.
Week Two. No Warning.
Week Eight. No Control.
Week Sixteen. No Cure.
Week Twenty-Eight. No Escape.
That's the very catchy phrases from the movie 28 Weeks Later. I watched it this afternoon with my bestfriend, Grace.
At first, she is hesitant to watch it coz she wasn't able to catch the first one, 28 Days Later (which stars Cillian Murphy, the creepy guy from Red Eye). I just happen to convince her by telling her that i really, really liked that movie, so in the nd, she agreed... hehehe
Here's some details about the movie:
Six months have passed since the rage virus has annihilated the British Isles. The U.S. Army declares that the war against infection has been won, and that the reconstruction of the country can begin. As the first wave of refugees return, a family is reunited--but one of them unwittingly carries a terrible secret. The virus is not yet dead, and this time--showing no outward symptoms--it is more dangerous than ever.
I don't wanna spoil those who hasn't watched it yet so i'll just comment about this flick.
First. Cool cinematography! The editing and visual effects are so damn close to reality that me and my friend sort of screamed (as in really screamed!), jumped to our seats and clasped our hands to our faces.
We weren't scared, it's just that the "infected" are so startling and loud at the same time.
Second. The soundtracks are so upbeat and cool (again) that it makes your adrenaline shoot up - literally.
Third. The guy named Doyle is really cute (for me) so it made me and my friend stay at the theater longer than we're supposed to be.
So, there's the current flick i got to watch. Hmmm. i wonder what's next on my list...
+ + + + + + +
By the way, in my former post, i've listed the 12 Senatorial bets i would like to win, and i'm glad that most (if not all of it) has been leading the race. Cool!
