I thought, "Hala, 2 decades na pala ako sa mundo, so far, ano na ba ang mga nangyari?"
Honestly, i can't even answer it coz so i've been through so many things that writing it all in this blog would bore my readers to death.
Somehow, i'd like to point out 21 things (or even people) who has continuously made my life worthwhile...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1. My Mama - since she's the one who carried my fragile body (naks!) for 9 months, and up to this moment, she still provides me that unconditional love that most Moms (or even Dads) would willingly do. She's not just my Mama anymore, she also became my closest friend and kabarkada.
2. My Journal - believe it or not, i still do things the old way. I'd prefer writing my deepest secrets (hahaha!!) or even my random emotions on that pink and white colored journal. Why? because there are some personal things that i'd rather not write in a web-published blog.
3. Grace - she's my super BFF! Eventhough our friendship is only 5 years old, i feel like we've already been friends since the day of our conception! Hahaha!!! Kidding aside, she's one person who i trust my life with.
4. Beef Steak - oh man!! I really really love Beefsteak to death!! My Mama knows it, Grace knows it and even Anj knows it!! Give me a bowl full of it and i'll finish it off in one piece! (by the way, Anj, if you're reading this, please tell your Mom that I really, really miss he and her Beefsteak =p)
5. Mango - be it the fruit, shake, juice, ripe, unripe, Indian, Apple, Kalabaw, dried or in any form possible, I really L-O-V-E it! And who wouldn't!?
6. Dogs - call me redundant but still, "Dogs, are a huMAN's bestfriend." No arguments! They can be your protector, your pal, your shock-absorber, your playmate or anything else. Dogs never complain. They will never accuse you of being a bad person; they will never tell you that you're such a sucker for so many things and most of all, they will never complain to you if all you want to do is to stay up the whole night, chatting or watching mushy movies.
7. Harry Potter – so far, nobody would argue with me on saying that J.K. Rowling’s 7-part novel is the BEST book ever! Reading it or even getting a glimpse of its cover just gives me goose bumps. From hard-bound books to the big-screen, Harry Potter has just created a big imprint on my life.
8. The color “Pink” – whenever I see this color, it just makes me feel good, perky and girly. Thus, most stuffs I own just goes on with this color.
9. Zaidee Berniss “Saisho” Mendiola– one of the best guy friends I have. We’ve been friends from way, way back in Grade 2 and up to now that we are pursuing field-related careers, he’s still the same Saisho I met in SMMS. One funny thing that always remember with him is that whenever it come to writing my name, he ALWAYS writes it the wrong way. One tin, he gave me a birthday card and man, I was really touched but when I saw my name written as “Onieda”… goodness!! I laughed really hard. But I always forgive him for that and eventually end up laughing at silly things or memories.
10. Joana Angela “Anj” Milano – When I speak Saisho’s name, there’s always another name that comes with it, Anj. She is also one of the best girl friends I have made during the 9 years I spent in SMMS. One of the most kind-hearted people and the best “sister” one could have. Although I’m a year older than her, she thinks, acts and speaks like my “Ate” whenever it comes to life-related topics.
11. Music – Music becomes my refuge whenever I feel down, stressed or just plain bored. I couldn’t stand a day without listening to music.
12. Movies – aside from Music, watching Movies makes me feel relaxed or just even forget the world for a while. Kahit comedy, suspense, action, sci-fi, romance, indie, thriller, animation and anything, papanoorin ko!
13. Badminton – this is one physical activity that surely gives me endless adrenaline drive.
14. SMS quotes – be it funny, sweet, romantic or inspirational, I really do appreciate every SMS that friends send to me. I never erase those messages not unless I have put them already in my notebooks, with own handwriting.
15. Game shows – I love watching game shows, kahit local or even foreign ones. It’s just so informative kasi eh and at the same time entertaining. Somehow, gusto ko nga sumali kahit sa Game Ka Na Ba? Or even sa Deal Or No Deal, not just to win the money but to have the experience as well.
16. Videoke – although I don’t have good singing voice, I still love singing! I guess ganyan talaga kapag Pinoy, we’d always have fun in simple things.
17. Hollywood and Pinoy Chismis – I never let a days pass without watching E!, The Daily 10, Entertainment Tonight, The Insider, Chika Minute, Star Patrol and the likes of such because in the field that I am into, it’s very important to get updated to the entertainment world.
18. Magazines – they are less expensive than buying novels and at the same time very helpful in my so-called personality transformation.
19. My Former Schools – spending 9 years at St. Martin Montessori School and almost 4 years at ICCT Colleges, I guess these two places helped me grow into the person that I am now.
20. The Lord – cliché as it may sound, the Lord becomes a great part of my life. I may not be the person who goes to church as often as possible or even pray the rosary daily, but I do believe that as long as I have Him inside me, I am safe and He knows how much I do praise him.
21. …………… - hmmm… I’ll just keep this number blank for a while. Life is so unpredictable that putting an end to this list would be so unlikely.
