Of Being Sick; the HP5 and the UAAP

I'm sick.

Yeah, you read it right. I am sick.

It's not necessarily the disease kind of sickness. Just the same old fever that hits everyone right now.

I guess this thing has been triggered by my strenuous work at GMA-7. Another factor is that the oh-so changing weather has been badly lashing my body, constantly shifting from sunny to hot to super cold and freakin' rainshowers which further causes a skull-splitting headache.

Now, i've been bedridden since Friday night. I'm on a 24-hour medication just to ease the irritating hot feeling i have until now.

I would sleep for 3 to 4 hours straight then wake up again for another 2 hours.

I got a bad cough, a splitting headache and a 40-degree body temperature. Great.

What more can i ask for?

So far, the only thing that keeps me perked up is waiting for the playdate of the fifth Harry Potter movie - Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix - this coming July 11. It's just a few days away and i can see myself standing on a long queue of line for the movie tickets on its first day!

Oh well, i better rest now and take another bunch of medicine again so that i'd be able to endure the things i mentioned above.

By the way, yesterday, July 7, 2007, is the opening of the 70th UAAP League! Cool!

Although i don't belong to any of those prestigious universities in that league, i still have my own favorite though.

I'm so glad that the DLSU Green Archers are back after a very ugly and controversial season last year.

They are back with a vengeance and are in their best form to take the crown away from the UST Tigers. hehehe, Sorry Sho, i know you LOVE the Tigers but admit it, the Archers are good, ayt?!
