Why? First, the plot was really predictable from the title pa lang noh! Second, being a rational thinker, death is really imminent (as I've said on my previous blog). Fate can be drawn even before we came to life and it is possible that man can change that coz he's got the oh-so mighty "free will". Lastly, by the end of the program, the last place that you'd want to see the main leads to stay is a fast food -- Jollibee specifically!
So how pathetic can that be?
I have nothing against that program or whatsoever but people behind it should have at least put the idea closer to reality rather than make the Filipino viewers look stupid.

Another show I got to watch was Survivor:Fiji.
This one really made my night. I wasn't able to see the start of the episode but i happen to catch the Reward Challenge wherein all 8 contestants were being asked by Jeff to pick a name of the other person whom they think fits enough to be the answer to Jeff's question. Those who got the right answer are given the chance to smash an axe through 3 towers made with porcelain bearing the name of their another contestant. If 3 were broken, the person who owns that tower will be eliminated from the challenge.
Surprisingly, Cassandra won that challenge so she was awarded 2 things:
1. She has to pick one person whom she will send back to the Exile island (alone) to stay there until the next Immunity Challenge - it was Mookie who got dumped in that island =); and
2. She gets a reward to stay in a yacht and spend the night there with 3 other lucky fellows to join her - Yau Man, Boo and Dreamz were picked..
As the Immunity Challenge came, it was a test of endurance, patience and balance because the contestants were made to stand in an inch-thick wood. What makes that challenge tougher is that every 30 minutes, they have to step down to an even thinner piece of wood which makes the pain unbearable. In the end, Yau Man won against Boo. SO much for a good person, eh!?
As the episode ended, it was a really big twist of fate for Mookie's group coz instead of having a solid vote against Cassandra, it ended up to a stupid decision wherein Alex gave up the Turtle immunity idol which Mookie gave to him just because Alex thinks he's the one whom Yau Man's group was supposed to vote. Bummer! So in the end, it was Edgardo who got axed, leaving a shocked Mookie and Alex with mouths wide open...

The last program I've watched was PBB Season 2.
The thing about giving a 15 year old creepy-looking-crazy-talking doll named Pamela is that her owner, Gee-ann finds it hard to detach herself from the "escape world" she created.
I can either agree nor disagree with her coz stepping out from your comfort zone is really hard specially if half of your life has been spent there. She has grown soooo attached to that doll thus making her denied of the realities happening around her.
One must learn to let go of things no matter how precious they are to our lives. We have to give them the freedom to explore the world without our guidance; without our hands helping them stand up every time they stumble; and without out presence lingering around them every now and then.
In that way, every one of us will eventually learn that life still goes on.
Time would still continue to run.
The world still spins.
