Some things must come to an end...

Some things must come to an end no matter how hard we try to prevent it from happening.

Drama? nah...

These are the things i feel as my OJT at GMA's Central News Library ends. Specifically, yesterday.

After 20+ days I've been coming and going inside the Network's premises, it feels like i'm so used to it.

Arriving there at about 20 minutes before my shift starts, and staying for a mere 5 hours, somehow seems like a habit. An ordinary habit.

Meeting such nice and very accomodating people in the likes of Ms. Cecille, Ms. Lyn and Ms. Ada is such a wonderful experience, because they have provided me and my fellow trainees with enough knowledge as to how their job really looks like.

It may be hard to be a Librarian and a Tape Custodian but still, i can see that they are enjoying their jobs and are taking it, well, seriously. Enduring long hours of standing, walking, Shelfing tapes, editing, dubbing, processing tapes and a lot of things to bother onto, they still manage to guide every trainee on their tasks and again, share a few laughs with us.

And thus, it made my stay at the CNL a lot nicer.

Being with these kind of people for 20+ days has made my life a lot more colorful. I have never complained regarding the workload, the different personalities i've encountered and most especially, the people i've met. All of them taught me something that I, myself, thought that i wasn't capable of learning.

But still, as the title of this post indicates, "some things must come to and end..." and sadly, my stay at the CNL has reached that point.

Now, i must move to another place, another company and another environment where i'd be meeting a lot more new faces and personalities. And that place i'm referring to is Summit Media.
  • I'm scared you know.

  • I'm scared because this time, i'm alone and i'm not with my friends, Diane and CJ. But i do hope that they'll be able to apply and pass and get into the company too.
Another thing that scares me is that i'm gonna meet new people with split-second mood swings. I guess i have to be used and immuned to such, though.

I 'll miss my co-trainess from Perpetual Help Laguna and New Era.
  • I'd miss Leann, her funny antics and her endless supply of "kwento", "chika" and uber cool MCDonald facts.

  • I'd miss Marge and Ron, and the way they makes that fun and silly remarks with those kid-like voices.

  • I'd miss Mimi and Rachel and the way they laugh when Leann, and even I, tells a joke.

I guess madrama na ko, so i end this blog with pics with the people i've worked with.

Ciao guys! I know i'll see you all again soon!
